The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Taurino during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Severiano Taurino got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Arnaldo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Severiano Taurino got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Æsir Ásgarðr booed when Berserkers FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, John Bogason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Bogason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Sólbjörn Guðnason made a precise shot to the right of Simon Arias. Berserkers FC Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Ámundi Hallmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Æsir Ásgarðr's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ámundi Hallmundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Sólbjörn Guðnason came free, but Simon Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarl Kormáksson got free with Simon Arias in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarl Kormáksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Arias came out and tried to block the shot, but Jarl Kormáksson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 27th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Arnaldo Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sólbjörn Guðnason could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Simon Arias made a huge save. Simon Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Simon Arias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sólbjörn Guðnason showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. Simon Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Tadeo Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berserkers FC Ψ and the Æsir Ásgarðr players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Jerrald. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sólbjörn Guðnason stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ámundi Hallmundsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Arias was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Jaime Nofre kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Sólbjörn Guðnason shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Arias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sólbjörn Guðnason hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Gonzo got free with Skarphéðinn Ormarsson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarnar Hjartarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Arnaldo Gonzo had to leave the field with a concussion. Rósmann Eðvarsson's late challenge caught a Berserkers FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rósmann Eðvarsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Rósmann Eðvarsson got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson got control of the ball when Romeo Astrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeo Astrada took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Kormáksson in the 81st minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Simon Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Jarl Kormáksson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Arias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Æsir Ásgarðr players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
