After 6 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Suriani. Ekzema F.V.'s Fabinho Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Francesco Colasante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuca Tróia. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Fabrizio Suriani got a free kick in the 9th minute. Márcio de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ennio Bianco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, A.C. Patagonia's Alfredo De Cesaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Márcio de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Colasante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrizio Suriani charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Suriani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Suriani. In the 30th match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Linhares to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Duda Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekzema F.V. and the A.C. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Duda Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Maldini came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Francesco Goffredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Cordeiro. Ekzema F.V.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francesco Goffredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Cericola during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Diego Cericola got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Samuca Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Colasante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half A.C. Patagonia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Maldini was the one to do the kick off. Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Maldini in the 51st minute of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Samuca Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Colasante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Maldini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Goffredo in the 61st minute of the match. Francesco Goffredo, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Sílvio Cordeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Alfredo De Cesaris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro, 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Goffredo. Alberigo Aversano lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alberigo Aversano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Fabinho Sarmento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francesco Colasante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuele Fantini hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ennio Bianco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Guerrini got free with Sílvio Cordeiro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabinho Sarmento hit a great ball. The supporters of A.C. Patagonia booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Colasante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Batista in the 92nd minute of play. A.C. Patagonia played a much better game than Ekzema F.V. and deserved their victory. The Ekzema F.V. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
