Alessio Catini started the match with the kick off. Elia Tuzzolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Mitus in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Bentkowski to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, Sao Brasola's Camillo Brunetta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miromir Zukowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sao Brasola reached it. In the 6th minute, Alessio Catini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Franco Albanesi hit a great ball. Elia Tuzzolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Wallach in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Sao Brasola's Franco Donatelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miromir Zukowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Edmondo Lucentini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Alessio Catini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sao Brasola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Catini didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Miromir Zukowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Donatelli in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when Sao Brasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Catini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Elia Tuzzolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wladyslaw Wallach. Enzo Tocci kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Alessio Catini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miromir Zukowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alessio Catini struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Miromir Zukowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sao Brasola.

Franco Albanesi's late challenge caught a KS Olimpia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franco Albanesi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Franco Albanesi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Kryspin Drzewucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenico Silvi made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Franco Donatelli immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessio Catini during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Catini to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alessio Catini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Olimpia Warszawa's Miromir Zukowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wladyslaw Wallach struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Elia Tuzzolino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. Wladyslaw Wallach scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Tuzzolino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Wladyslaw Wallach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Drzewucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sao Brasola's Franco Donatelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miromir Zukowski. That made the score 2-4 after 90 minutes of play. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Wladyslaw Wallach got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sao Brasola supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sao Brasola would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
