Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Gone With the Win's Vic Bayne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Bayne in the 3rd minute of play forced Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Moisés Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Browne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Donato in the 7th minute of play. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's attentive Maurinho Valadares managed to snatch the ball when Trevor Kempson made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Maurinho Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Vic Bayne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Raúl Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Raúl Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Browne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doriva de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Browne having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vic Bayne during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vic Bayne hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vic Bayne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Moisés Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vic Bayne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes of play, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Doriva de Queirós made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Browne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Doriva de Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ian Browne made a huge save. Trevor Kempson made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Maurinho Valadares. In the 71st minute Vic Bayne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Lewis Piercy got a free kick in the 76th minute. A hard shot by André da Fonseca from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Ian Browne's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lewis Piercy hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's André da Fonseca tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Moisés Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Lewis Piercy got a free kick in the 86th minute. Samuel Foley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Arce having to interfere. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
