Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clemente Meira started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Leonel Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Browne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo Sampaio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Misericordia EC's zone, Samuel Foley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Aparecido came out of the goal and Samuel Foley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Waldir Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Meira in the 26th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ian Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vic Bayne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aparecido having to interfere. Waldir Branco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Leonel Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Allwright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iuri Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Leonel Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Vic Bayne made the kick off in the second half. Iuri Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Bayne in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ian Browne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Browne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Maciel went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, David Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 played minutes Misericordia EC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Sampaio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vic Bayne in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Aparecido saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. Joseph Allwright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iuri Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Luís Gustavo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Browne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gone With the Win's Joseph Allwright in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Misericordia EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Piercy to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Júnior Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Browne skillfully saved the ball. After 88 played minutes Gone With the Win got a freekick which was hit by Vic Bayne.
