Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lewis Woodhead kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Gone With the Win got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Foley. In the 7th minute Lewis Woodhead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Meira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Woodhead in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Aparecido saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benê Mendes hit a great ball. Stew Lonsdale, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alex Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rhys Whittingham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Misericordia EC. In the 23rd minute Lewis Woodhead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Freddie Scriven hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Samuel Foley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sandro Berger hit a great ball. Luís Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Joseph Allwright fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 43rd minute, Lewis Woodhead got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Iuri Aparecido got control of the ball when Joseph Allwright tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Rhys Whittingham came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Misericordia EC's Valdir Urbano. But to his dismay, Valdir Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 62nd minute, Vágner Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Woodhead came free, but Iuri Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Allwright's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Rhys Whittingham was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Valdir Urbano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdir Urbano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Iuri Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Woodhead in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Gone With the Win got a corner. Misericordia EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stew Lonsdale ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Stew Lonsdale got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iuri Aparecido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 78 minutes, Luís Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misericordia EC and the Gone With the Win players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rhys Whittingham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Whittingham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Urbano in the 82nd minute of play. Valdir Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rhys Whittingham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Misericordia EC's Valdir Urbano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rhys Whittingham. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play.
