After 7 played minutes Trindade Atlético Club got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Lopez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio da Silva during the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Damen in the 19th minute of play forced Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Chicão Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verwachting's Henny Jans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. Henny Jans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardinho de Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Ricardinho de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Henny Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Lopez got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trindade Atlético Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute, Ricardinho de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sjors Schulte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Chicão Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Verwachting getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. The Verwachting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Ricardinho de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henny Jans having to interfere. Chicão Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjors Schulte in the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Frank Roordink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verwachting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trindade Atlético Club the free kick. Frank Roordink hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Ricardinho de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verwachting's Henny Jans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Paes in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henny Jans saved Verwachting from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Sjors Schulte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Oliveira was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Ralf Damen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho de Barros came free, but Henny Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
