Lorenzo Quintin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dirk-Jan Akkerman made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Danilo Cuartio sent off a good shot on target. Bjorn Veltman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Sjors Kolkman. The Underdogs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Maximo Furtado scored to the left of an out of position Dirk-Jan Akkerman, making the score, 1-1. Dirk-Jan Akkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Mateo in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Sjors Kolkman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lagrima en Jarrita's Lorenzo Quintin. Lorenzo Quintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Chuck Wood hit a great ball. The supporters of Lagrima en Jarrita booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Twan de Koning didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Underdogs's Dirk-Jan Akkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Furtado in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Carsten van Wonderen notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lagrima en Jarrita's Lorenzo Quintin. Lorenzo Quintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half The Underdogs were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lagrima en Jarrita's Lorenzo Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Lagrima en Jarrita from getting a goal against them. When Carsten van Wonderen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the The Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carsten van Wonderen couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Quintin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Carsten van Wonderen sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute of the match, Bjorn Veltman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lorenzo Quintin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Lagrima en Jarrita's zone, Sjors Kolkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Quintin came out of the goal and Sjors Kolkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lagrima en Jarrita's Lorenzo Quintin got control of the ball when Sjors Kolkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Carsten van Wonderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Underdogs's Dirk-Jan Akkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Furtado in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Twan de Koning. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Danilo Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagrima en Jarrita's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Cuartio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk-Jan Akkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Argoitz. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Twan de Koning hit a great ball. Lorenzo Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carsten van Wonderen in the 93rd minute of the match. Carsten van Wonderen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Underdogs played a much better game than Lagrima en Jarrita and deserved their victory. The Lagrima en Jarrita players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
