Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carsten van Wonderen got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, The Underdogs's Eurico Figueira threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carsten van Wonderen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Twan de Koning during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Twan de Koning hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sjors Kolkman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Eurico Figueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filipe Quinaz took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirk-Jan Akkerman. Dirk-Jan Akkerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gremio Viana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Carsten van Wonderen scored to the left of an out of position Eurico Figueira, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Huib van Zanten hit a great ball. After 31 minutes, Manuel Fernandes made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. The Underdogs's Dirk-Jan Akkerman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Corné Knopper. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Carsten van Wonderen put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eurico Figueira. Gremio Viana's Eurico Figueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Gremio Viana from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aparício Taborda during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 52nd minute Sjors Kolkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk-Jan Akkerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Fernandes in the 54th minute. Eurico Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjors Kolkman in the 56th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Sjors Kolkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio Viana's Eurico Figueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio Viana's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sjors Kolkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sjors Kolkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Figueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Couto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Dirk-Jan Akkerman got control of the ball when Manuel Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurico Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carsten van Wonderen in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Gremio Viana got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Couto. Bjorn Veltman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Figueira having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Carsten van Wonderen came free, but Eurico Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Figueira came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen. But to his dismay, Carsten van Wonderen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 97th minute Carsten van Wonderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
