The Blaugrana Stare Tychy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Setara should have stopped the shot. Eurico Figueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Turek's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Turek in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Figueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piotr Balonek hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Manuel Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julian Setara made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Fernandes to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Manuel Fernandes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Blaugrana Stare Tychy's Julian Setara. Julian Setara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Blaugrana Stare Tychy getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Radowit Gargasz hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Eurico Figueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Turek. Carlos Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Julian Setara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. In the 64th minute Adelino Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Setara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Balonek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Gremio Viana's Eurico Figueira got control of the ball when Waldemar Turek tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Blaugrana Stare Tychy booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Gama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blaugrana Stare Tychy. 84 minutes into the game, Carlos Castilho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio Viana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blaugrana Stare Tychy the free kick. Gremio Viana:s Eurico Figueira showed great skill when he stopped Zula Zbydniewski:s penalty. Zula Zbydniewski took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Figueira. Eurico Figueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Filipe Quinaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Manuel Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Viana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Fernandes in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Setara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Radowit Gargasz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Figueira was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Piotr Balonek hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
