After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Diego Alaerts got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A hard shot 7 in the game by Diego Alaerts from a close distance when the talented Jörgen Olofsson managed to make a qualified save. Wargön's players were relieved. 11 minutes into the match, Diego Alaerts notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Wargön's Jörgen Olofsson. Jörgen Olofsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Ouagadougou National's Diego Alaerts was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jörgen Olofsson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Diego Alaerts sent off a good shot on target. If Bernt Van Eeckhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Wallander came free, but Daan Owerckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Rits lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 26 minutes into the game, one of FC Ouagadougou National:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC Ouagadougou National:s Daan Owerckx showed great skill when he stopped Sigvard Wallander:s penalty. In the 30th minute, Elliott Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Van Eeckhout got free with Jörgen Olofsson in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Busk in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daan Owerckx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daan Owerckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Ekelund in the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Wargön's Jörgen Olofsson got control of the ball when Diego Alaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Roger Lundin. In the 45th minute Sigvard Wallander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daan Owerckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jörgen Olofsson managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when FC Ouagadougou National's Diego Alaerts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Wallander to make the kick off. Daan Owerckx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Strandberg in the 53rd minute. Daan Owerckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Sigvard Wallander took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Daan Owerckx to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Alaerts in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Olofsson saved Wargön from getting behind. Sigvard Wallander kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jörgen Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartjan Rijmenants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Boklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Bartjan Rijmenants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National's Daan Owerckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. Daan Owerckx made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Ödmann in the 84th minute. Bartjan Rijmenants kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Diego Alaerts succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Ouagadougou National could leave the field as winners, despite Wargön having more of the ball for most of the match.
