The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of MamiBella FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Facundo Urdiales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Obano. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Obano should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, MamiBella FC's Quiróz Casanoves got a free kick in the 11th minute. Guansa's Claudio Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Obano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Graña went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 18thth minute of the game Arturo Tono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MamiBella FC's Juan Carrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Arturo Tono from a close distance when the talented Juan Carrera managed to make a qualified save. MamiBella FC's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Geancarlos Hijosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xelo Monzonis replaced Alvaro Graña. After the first half MamiBella FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Urdiales to make the kick off. Xelo Monzonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcelo Estefan fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guansa's protests and gave Marcelo Estefan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Marcelo Estefan got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 73 minutes, Facundo Urdiales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MamiBella FC and the Guansa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Uriel Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guansa's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Hori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Carrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Tono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Tono struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Juan Carrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guansa. After 83 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Olando. After 87 minutes of play, MamiBella FC's Xelo Monzonis made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Obano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 played minutes MamiBella FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeru Laurencio. When Guansa's Arturo Tono in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MamiBella FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Guansa lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
