The audience was convinced that Tadeo Eztebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Melo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. José Maria Melo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when 0 descensos's Siro Argi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After the first half 0 descensos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Clemente Marinho's late challenge caught a 0 descensos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Futebol Dos Parça's David Neves got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Futebol Dos Parça's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Raymundo came free, but José Maria Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Dos Parça from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Inácio Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 0 descensos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
