Jerônimo Meirelles's late challenge caught a Winthont FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerônimo Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Benjamin Bender got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Jurjen Kors. Rui Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Talsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Roger Wijngaart made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Arsenal MGK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Winthont FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
