The coaching staff of Futebol Dos Parça protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abel Barbosa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Arsenal MGK a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maurinho Aparecido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo. 0-2. José Maria Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Freitas in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Virgílio dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal MGK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio dos Santos in the 24th minute of play. Maurício Freitas's late challenge caught a Futebol Dos Parça's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the match, Futebol Dos Parça's Inácio Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Souza struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rui Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futebol Dos Parça. If Inácio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Futebol Dos Parça supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal MGK's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal MGK.
