In the 3rd minute, Rodrigo Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pacifico Cezuago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Dos Parça from getting a goal against them. Ysidro Elorriaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but José Maria Melo made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Inácio Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Baizan got free with José Maria Melo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erauso Bustelo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute, Olando Guardamino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erauso Bustelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Melo having to interfere. José Maria Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubarna Huertas went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo got control of the ball when Ubarna Huertas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ubarna Huertas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Erauso Bustelo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. José Maria Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erauso Bustelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Futebol Dos Parça got a freekick which was hit by David Neves. In the 67th minute Inácio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacifico Cezuago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Canado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Ysidro Elorriaga fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sociedad Anónima's protests and gave Ysidro Elorriaga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Ysidro Elorriaga got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Futebol Dos Parça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Artime in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute Louis Artime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysidro Elorriaga in the 79th minute of play forced Futebol Dos Parça's goalkeeper José Maria Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Futebol Dos Parça's José Maria Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olando Guardamino in the 81st minute of play. José Maria Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysidro Elorriaga in the 82nd minute of the match. Ubarna Huertas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Melo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedad Anónima's Erauso Bustelo. But to his dismay, Erauso Bustelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 91 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Javier Baizan. If Ubarna Huertas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
