Ikhsan Situmorang sent off a good shot on target. M. Ikhsan Situmorang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Gigel Rânceanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rama Pravita's late challenge caught a Fotbal Club Vaslui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rama Pravita helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Rama Pravita got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18th play minutes M. Ikhsan Situmorang shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Gigel Rânceanu and just under the crossbar into goal. If M. Ikhsan Situmorang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Víglundur von der Schulenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandung Tigers the free kick. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víglundur von der Schulenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Ferry Fachrurozi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandung Tigers's Herman Winar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Nisporeanu in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Alex Potra. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Ferry Fachrurozi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrei Vârjean to make the kick off. Felix Nisporeanu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Ikhsan Situmorang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bandung Tigers's Ferry Fachrurozi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bandung Tigers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
