Pipon Pipon's Darin Marks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Garci in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match Bobby Fisher climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Teodosio Abeita. In the 10th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bobby Fisher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Clodio came free, but Darin Marks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foster Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Ruquense FC's Aquilino Garci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darin Marks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 29th minute, Bobby Fisher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Garci came free, but Darin Marks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Garci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darin Marks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Fisher to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pancho Cabeza hit a great ball. Gavino Astrada kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcos Sewell managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Sewell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Clodio scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darin Marks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Aquilino Garci scored to the left of an out of position Darin Marks, making the score, 2-3. Colin Mock's late challenge caught a Ruquense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colin Mock helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C. A. Pipon Pipon! The goalkeeper, Darin Marks, was totally fooled by Ruquense FC's Melquiades Deunoro, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute, Aquilino Garci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aquilino Garci came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ruquense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Garci couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Kerry Lancaster got a free kick in the 81st minute. Aquilino Garci might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darin Marks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Garci ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Darin Marks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Sewell in the 93rd minute of the match.
