Cecilio Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Maciel in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Baiano. In the 20th minute, Edgar Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Mantzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, Afonso Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cecilio Mantzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Baianos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Cecilio Mantzio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Estevez Palmeira during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Estevez Palmeira hit a great ball. Afonso Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cecilio Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Betão Moura replaced Robinho Magalhães. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Afonso Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Mantzio was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
