A collision led to TIMETER EC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rogério de Mendonça hit a great ball. Elói Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Romero having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Falcão Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Matos in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by César da Mata in the 84th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jean Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Falcão Monteiro having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TIMETER EC -DMZ- had played much better football throughout.
