Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Velez-Malaga from getting a goal against them. When Renato de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Renato de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César da Mata to strike the kick off in the second half. César da Mata succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Bao Huguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César da Mata in the 64th minute of play. Bao Huguet came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Elói Borges. But to his dismay, Elói Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 74 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goal looked a bit too open when César da Mata came free, but Bao Huguet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César da Mata in the 75th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play Velez-Malaga's Vidal Camaño was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Velez-Malaga's zone, Elói Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bao Huguet came out of the goal and Elói Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
