The tension between the GoalHunters and the Velez-Malaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Velez-Malaga booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Roşulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iacob Roşulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bao Huguet having to interfere. When GoalHunters's Horaţiu Frâncu in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez-Malaga's goalie prevented a goal. Velez-Malaga were furious when Brais Pacheco was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Velez-Malaga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The referee gave GoalHunters a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iacob Roşulescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet. 0-1. After 12 minutes, Marius Isvoreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoalHunters and the Velez-Malaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes GoalHunters got a freekick which was hit by Marius Isvoreanu. The GoalHunters fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when GoalHunters's Iacob Roşulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, GoalHunters's Petre Tiţe got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Horaţiu Frâncu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bao Huguet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Iacob Roşulescu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet. Bao Huguet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Velez-Malaga defense, Iacob Roşulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bao Huguet. The Velez-Malaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bao Huguet should have stopped the shot. Bao Huguet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Roşulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's Iacob Roşulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bao Huguet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Vidal Camaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez-Malaga and the GoalHunters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laurențiu Buteanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bao Huguet. Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Iacob Roşulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Frâncu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bao Huguet. Horaţiu Frâncu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Iacob Roşulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bao Huguet having to interfere. 0-6 became the score in the 62nd minute when Iacob Roşulescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Horaţiu Frâncu scored 0-7 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bao Huguet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horaţiu Frâncu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Vidal Camaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Velez-Malaga's Bao Huguet got control of the ball when Horaţiu Frâncu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Roşulescu in the 76th minute of play forced Velez-Malaga's goalkeeper Bao Huguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estefan Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Javier Taules hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Roşulescu got free with Bao Huguet in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
