Jogaila Palčiauskas was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Harald Kjellman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harald Kjellman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaidas Rakauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jogaila Palčiauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Bållström in the 52nd minute of play. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Feliksas Mickeliūnas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Savage Hippo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Feliksas Mickeliūnas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Savage Hippo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Real Södertälje getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Paul Bållström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentas Podėris during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Södertälje had played much better football throughout.
