Emiliano Cara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Emiliano Cara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ive De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Di Lullo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ive De Meyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdieri. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cara in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Di Lullo came free, but Ive De Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre Hacke struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Edoardo Cabrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gullegem. Goffrey Demarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edoardo Cabrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Lou Mampaerts got a free kick in the 28th minute. A hard shot by Franco Sarnelli from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Ive De Meyer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute, Valdieri's Antonio Forte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ive De Meyer made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Antonio Forte sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Aurelio Di Lullo could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Ive De Meyer however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierre Hacke to make the kick off. FC Gullegem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Cockaerts in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Gabriel Cockaerts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini did a great save. In the 56th minute, Aurelio Di Lullo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valdieri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ive De Meyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Forte went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Hacke in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edoardo Cabrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Antonio Forte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ive De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ive De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Di Lullo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Valdieri's Antonio Forte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ive De Meyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ive De Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Di Lullo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goffrey Demarez charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goffrey Demarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Goffrey Demarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
