Franco Sarnelli was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Doffes Damer's Jakob Lööf was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Sarnelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franco Sarnelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Doffes Damer's Anton Hult played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cara in the 19th minute of play. Franco Sarnelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rosin in the 21st minute. Franco Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 26th minute of play. Franco Sarnelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 29th minute of the match. Elia Cicchini hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Comunardo Amatori kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fulvio Bozzelli hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Bengt-Åke Kleen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doffes Damer's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Åke Kleen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Sarnelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Sarnelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Lööf. 41 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Lööf came free, but Franco Sarnelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Cara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franco Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Lööf in the 56th minute of play. Franco Sarnelli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Doffes Damer's Jakob Lööf shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 61 minutes into the game, Doffes Damer's Jakob Lööf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Sarnelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Franco Sarnelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Bengt-Åke Kleen's late challenge caught a Valdieri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute Bengt-Åke Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Sarnelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Åke Kleen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Sarnelli was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Anton Hult made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Emanuele Ranieri sent off a good shot on target. Franco Sarnelli came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Doffes Damer's Jakob Lööf. But to his dismay, Jakob Lööf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Bengt-Åke Kleen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franco Sarnelli. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franco Sarnelli should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's Jakob Lööf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Sarnelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jakob Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doffes Damer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
