Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Hacke in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Gaspard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gullegem from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Pierre Hacke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Sendoa hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Kim Verhengen. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Remigio in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Izak Schoolmeesters hit a great ball. Leonides Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Laurin came free, but Ive De Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Ciano. After 35 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Palos. After 36 minutes, Ariel Sanchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the FC Gullegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Anier Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ive De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Goffrey Demarez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Goffrey Demarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gertjan Waterloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Gabriel Cockaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Leonides Laurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Laurin in the 72nd minute of play. Lou Mampaerts hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Lino Remigio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer didn't even have to move. Ariel Sanchez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Gabriel Cockaerts threw the ball into play from the sideline. Luganeros AFC's Ariel Sanchez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 84 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Pierre Hacke. Luganeros AFC's Leonides Laurin managed to work through FC Gullegem's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leonides Laurin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
