An unexpectedly hard shot by Goffrey Demarez in the 18th minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Saadettin Kutsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as KOO Tigers's Tolga Şahinhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ive De Meyer. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute Pierre Hacke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin Kutsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolga Şahinhan in the 26th minute of play. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Gullegem from getting a goal against them. Saadettin Kutsoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Hacke went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Hüsmen Ötüken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ive De Meyer made a huge save. KOO Tigers's Saadettin Kutsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Hacke in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Pierre Hacke got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Harun Beyzade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ive De Meyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Hacke in the 48th minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Saadettin Kutsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Tolga Şahinhan made the kick off in the second half. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Şahinhan in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's Hüsmen Ötüken got a free kick in the 65th minute. Saadettin Kutsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Hacke in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when KOO Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Şahinhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Ötüken in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Ive De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ive De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Şahinhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Tolga Şahinhan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer. Ive De Meyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ive De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolga Şahinhan in the 91st minute of the match. Despite being the better team, FC Gullegem failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
