The supporters of Valdieri booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lou Mampaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdieri's Andrea Reggianini got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franco Sarnelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Goffrey Demarez in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Aurelio Di Lullo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ive De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Valdieri booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izak Schoolmeesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gertjan Waterloos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Emiliano Cara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdieri and the FC Gullegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Emiliano Cara got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ive De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Ranieri in the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Goffrey Demarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Goffrey Demarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Sarnelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Valdieri players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
