The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Meireles came free, but Mauro Eliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Pacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guto Teles. Lindner F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Pacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guto Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Lia's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Guto Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Guto Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Dedê Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindner F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riesgo Cero the free kick. Dedê Meireles hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Diego Lia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guto Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Romulo Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Riesgo Cero defense, Dedê Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Eliu. The Riesgo Cero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Eliu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when Lindner F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Diego Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lia in the 44th minute of play forced Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Guto Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riesgo Cero's Conrado Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Conrado Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Guto Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Guaberto Cordeiro hit a great ball. Lindner F.C's Guto Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Lauro in the 58th minute of play. Guto Teles made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Diego Lia sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Pacho came free, but Guto Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Eliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Santana's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Clodoveo Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Pacho in the 69th minute of play forced Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Guto Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Lindner F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Santana. Guto Teles made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Diego Lia sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Meireles in the 74th minute of the match. Guto Teles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodoveo Pacho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Clodoveo Pacho from a close distance when the talented Guto Teles managed to make a qualified save. Lindner F.C's players were relieved. Lindner F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Conrado Lauro scored to the left of an out of position Guto Teles, making the score, 1-4. 85 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's Dedê Meireles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Diego Lia notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Lindner F.C's Guto Teles. Guto Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clodoveo Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Teles having to interfere.
