When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Lindmark made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaime Roig took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Ambjörnsson. Arne Ambjörnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Arne Ambjörnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. The NAGANO F.C fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when NAGANO F.C's Jairo Villavedon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 92 minutes into the game, Alf Lindmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surahammar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NAGANO F.C the free kick. The supporters of NAGANO F.C booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Surahammar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
