When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Tancredo Hornilla put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Leal. Jurdan Rocandio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurdan Rocandio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Leal. Rigoberto Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 26th minute, Jurdan Rocandio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julen Palenciano's late challenge caught a Austral FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julen Palenciano helped the player get up and apologised. Julen Palenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Enetz Diestro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Freixes. That made the score 2-2 in the 31 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jurdan Rocandio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Tiago Freixes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enetz Diestro in the 37th minute of play. Lain Divaichin charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lain Divaichin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Lain Divaichin. Iraunkor Pozos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Freixes came out and tried to block the shot, but Iraunkor Pozos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 40th minute. After 46 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Bakar Heneses. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanni Borrego was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valery Montalban to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tancredo Hornilla in the 56th minute. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Leal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lain Divaichin to maneuver through the defense. With 69 minutes on the clock, Oliverio Huergo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Oliverio Huergo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Hustaz Ascot might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Freixes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hustaz Ascot ran back to his position shaking his head. After 74 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Tirso Lavin. 78 minutes into the game, Austral FC's Iraunkor Pozos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Freixes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 84 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hanni Borrego came free, but Tiago Freixes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraunkor Pozos in the 87th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Tiago Freixes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Hanni Borrego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Freixes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurdan Rocandio got free with Rigoberto Leal in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Austral FC had won after a very even match.
