Teofilo Hori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Poças. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Patrício Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrício Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Teofilo Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Adérito Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 the free kick. The supporters of 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 booed when Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adérito Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adérito Fernandes in the 16th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Patrício Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Frederik in the 31st minute of the match. Ceferino Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Elias Poças made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Marin made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, David Beckham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Buinton. David Beckham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Jean-Pierre Papin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Daniel Buinton threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrício Galvão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute Jean-Pierre Papin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alejo Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Elias Poças was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Alfonso Frederik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Poças was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Alejo Loi got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jean-Pierre Papin hit a great ball. Alfonso Frederik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Loi scored 2-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Poças, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
