Orlando Crain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Papin in the 6th minute of the match. Cristóvão Carmo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Crain. Orlando Crain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Papin came free, but Orlando Crain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adérito Fernandes got free with Orlando Crain in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Crain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adérito Fernandes in the 17th minute. If Herschel Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trey Berthelette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Poças having to interfere. In the 20th minute Palmer Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hurricanes FC's Palmer Guerra fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 28th match minute, Hurricanes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmer Guerra to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Herschel Orozco notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Elias Poças. Elias Poças was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Adérito Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orlando Crain. That made the score 4-1 in the 35 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Jean-Pierre Papin made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Crain. Hurricanes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Orlando Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrício Galvão in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palmer Guerra was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício Galvão in the 52nd minute of play forced Hurricanes FC's goalkeeper Orlando Crain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Papin came free, but Orlando Crain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Crain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adérito Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Palmer Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Elias Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmer Guerra in the 71st minute of play. Orlando Crain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Pierre Papin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Elias Poças made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Trey Berthelette sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Hurricanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adérito Fernandes came free, but Orlando Crain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Crain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Papin in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Celso Aguiar got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, one of Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Elias Poças, was totally fooled by Hurricanes FC's Palmer Guerra, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 94 minutes into the game, Adérito Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Orlando Crain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 98 minutes into the match, Jean-Pierre Papin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Crain. Hurricanes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Pierre Papin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
