Elias Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Lidon Bengoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Poças. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lidon Bengoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivos de Punto Fijo's Gabriel Gay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias Poças. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Adalberto Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Elias Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lidon Bengoa in the 25th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ got a freekick which was hit by Iker van der Sar. Lidon Bengoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lidon Bengoa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lidon Bengoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Gay in the 44th minute of play forced Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goalkeeper Elias Poças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Lidon Bengoa got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Lidon Bengoa off the ground. Lidon Bengoa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Gay to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Amenedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Aguiar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Chivos de Punto Fijo. Jose Gay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elias Poças. 4-0. After 70 played minutes Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Amaral. Elias Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Gay, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Gabriel Gay, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Elias Poças was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Ilazki Zumalburu replaced Paulino Alfebra. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Jeronimo Corrales replaced Gabriel Gay. Elias Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bela Gayoso in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Jeronimo Corrales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Poças was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Bela Gayoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Jeronimo Corrales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Poças made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. There was no doubt that Chivos de Punto Fijo were the better team. Chivos de Punto Fijo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
