Tiaguinho Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Löv having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Tiaguinho Santana made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ola Löv. Zero Hedge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Elder Guedes had to leave the field with a concussion. Elias Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Tiaguinho Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ola Löv was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Österberg in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Bertil Åström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zero Hedge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 77 minutes into the game, Bertil Åström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zero Hedge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ the free kick. A collision led to Zero Hedge getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bertil Åström hit a great ball. Luís Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Pedro Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Alfred Österberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Österberg struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Luís Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zero Hedge.
