São Paulo da Floresta's Artur Tepedino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tiaguinho Carneiro made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edgar Palmeira immediately put the ball in play. Almir Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Sergipano in the 27th minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Ferreira went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tiaguinho Carneiro made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tiaguinho Carneiro immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, São Paulo da Floresta's Carlos Fernando Almeida got control of the ball when Amílton Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zemantauskas FC's Joel de Senna got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Joel de Senna off the ground. The coaching staff of Zemantauskas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nuno Cruz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 74th minute, one of Zemantauskas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zemantauskas FC. Vitório Mendonça shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlinhos Sergipano during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes São Paulo da Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos Sergipano. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
