The audience was convinced that Carlinhos Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Pál was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After 18 minutes, Botond Tamás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andrashida and the São Paulo da Floresta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Béla Antal got free with Carlos Fernando Almeida in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes São Paulo da Floresta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ádám Kalmár who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ádám Kalmár almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but São Paulo da Floresta's Carlos Fernando Almeida did a great save. Krisztián Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After the first half São Paulo da Floresta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Caco Falcão made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Fernando Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Béla Antal in the 52nd minute of the match. Elder Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kázmér Rácz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Fernando Almeida. São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Jefferson Mazza got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th match minute, São Paulo da Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernando Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botond Tamás in the 69th minute of play. William Favoretto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. São Paulo da Floresta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
