Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Kurevere the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Romero to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Rony Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hugo Vanaliin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jataiense Futebol Clube's Wellington Moura in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hugo Vanaliin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jataiense Futebol Clube's Délio Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Saareoja in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when JK Kurevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerd Saareoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Edmundo Castro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Vanaliin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Ago Leks. After the first half Jataiense Futebol Clube were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, JK Kurevere's Hugo Vanaliin got control of the ball when Rony Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jataiense Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Castro in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Vanaliin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Jataiense Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dráuzio Freire hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Wellington Moura notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of JK Kurevere's Hugo Vanaliin. Hugo Vanaliin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Ilmar Kurg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Vanaliin made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wellington Moura sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, JK Kurevere's Hugo Vanaliin got control of the ball when Wellington Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Glauco Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Vanaliin. Hugo Vanaliin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Ivar Meri might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Délio Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Meri ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jataiense Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
