MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ the free kick. In the 7th minute, Petre Prislop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Reed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Ene's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Laurențiu Ene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolae Encuțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Simon Reed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kip Velazquez couldn't finish the play. Leonard Cutean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kip Velazquez in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalkeeper Simon Reed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurențiu Ene made a kick off. MIT's Leonard Cutean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save MIT from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT fans cheered their team off the field, for while ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
