Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonsinho Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Ene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dênis de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dênis de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Mara, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 16 minutes, Costel Cezariu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MIT's Costel Cezariu got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Culcer to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Cafu Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Prislop came free, but Dênis de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Cezariu got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, MIT's Costel Cezariu got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guto Mattos got free with Leonard Cutean in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Ene in the 40th minute of play forced BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalkeeper Dênis de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Afonsinho Cearense hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Godoi in the 44th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Leonard Cutean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MIT's Laurențiu Ene got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, MIT's Petre Prislop seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Petre Prislop the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MIT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Petre Prislop had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Petre Prislop hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Cafu Damião was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciprian Tunaru made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Mara in the 58th minute of play forced BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalkeeper Dênis de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MIT's Leonard Cutean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Mattos in the 61st minute of play. Leonard Cutean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Cearense in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Petrică didn't get a good kick on the ball. MIT made a substitution. Virgil Otețea replaced Gelu Petrică. In the 77th minute, Gelu Petrică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joélson Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Branco came free, but Leonard Cutean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
