Zé Paulo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando de Queiroz in the 18th minute of the match. Mário Mendes's late challenge caught a ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilian Quadros made a kick off.
