A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jerzy Niedziela struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ivari Olumets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WiTeK TeAm. Jerzy Zerde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivari Olumets having to interfere. WiTeK TeAm's Wasyl Rawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arto Õunapuu in the 17th minute of play. Villu Lesta might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wasyl Rawa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Villu Lesta ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 played minutes WiTeK TeAm got a freekick which was hit by Jerzy Zerde. 29 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Hryc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WiTeK TeAm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dundee the free kick. After a rather tough play, WiTeK TeAm's Zbyszko Hryc got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arto Õunapuu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Rawa saved WiTeK TeAm from getting behind. Ivari Olumets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Villu Lesta. Ivari Olumets was a little too slow when Jerzy Niedziela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arto Õunapuu to make the kick off. After 50 minutes, Radomir Puch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WiTeK TeAm and the FC Dundee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 50 played minutes WiTeK TeAm got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Puch. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Haarald Ling hit a great ball. WiTeK TeAm's Damazy Sebzda got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominik Lizewski's late challenge caught a FC Dundee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Lizewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when WiTeK TeAm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Lizewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasyl Rawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arto Õunapuu in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Niedziela in the 61st minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ivari Olumets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Orumets kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With 65 minutes on the clock, Sten Aruväli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ivari Olumets had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Damazy Sebzda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Bykowski in the 68th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ivari Olumets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivari Olumets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Niedziela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Dundee's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
