After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Eugen Spoială got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Molander in the 9th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Bogdan Neaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jens Hafström hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, FC Maci -MM-'s Alin Giurcă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Vykans Vikingar's Folke Örnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Spoială in the 26th minute of play. Alin Giurcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Folke Örnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Cezar Boia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Spoială in the 41st minute of play. Nicolae Pădureanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cezar Boia hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Maci -MM-'s zone, Viktor Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Neaga came out of the goal and Viktor Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bo Wallman made the kick off in the second half. Boris Spassky kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Bogdan Neaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Wallin. With an all-out effort, Vykans Vikingar's Bogdan Neaga threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bo Wallman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 70 minutes, Nicolae Pădureanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Pădureanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Pădureanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Örnberg having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Spoială came free, but Folke Örnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Eugen Spoială shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, FC Maci -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Boia to maneuver through the defense. If Jens Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Jens Hafström. When Jim Kjellberg fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vykans Vikingar's protests and gave Jim Kjellberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Kjellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Doroftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bogdan Neaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Encuțu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidiu Encuțu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ovidiu Encuțu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Maci -MM- had won after a very even match.
