Zé Paulo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Perfecto in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Benicio Perfecto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After recieving a nice pass, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teodoro Lluciano charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Lluciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernan Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Toledo in the 22nd minute of the match. Fernan Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Zonta in the 23rd minute of play. Umberto Araújo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, one of Werneck FC - DMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Werneck FC - DMZ. The goalkeeper, Zé Paulo Fernandez, was totally fooled by Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Lino Selmo, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zé Paulo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sobotka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Perfecto in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Haitz in the 36th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Teodoro Lluciano got a free kick in the 44th minute. Breno Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fernan Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sobotka scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Cornelio Gimenez was substituted for Mario Chabier. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Benicio Perfecto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Paulo Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Elija went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Elija in the 70th minute of the match. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Genílson Cardozo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lino Selmo, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fernan Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Freitas in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lino Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Cornelio Gimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Paulo Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 96 minutes into the game, Leonides Pitin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Zé Paulo Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Defensores del Tiki Tiki walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
