After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Tiago Freitas got a free kick in the 8th minute. Romário Braga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Freitas in the 16th minute of play forced Nina fc's goalkeeper Lucio Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Augusto Silviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Zonta in the 19th minute of play. Lucio Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Breno Zonta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Hernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jacinto das Neves hit a great ball. Genílson Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Werneck FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Genílson Cardozo hit a great ball. Nina fc's Arturo Ariando got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Nina fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Werneck FC - DMZ were winning 0-2.

After 53 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Romário Braga. Javier Restu's late challenge caught a Werneck FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Restu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nina fc getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Javier Restu hit a great ball. When Augusto Silviano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nina fc's protests and gave Augusto Silviano a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Corrêa came free, but Lucio Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Munio in the 72nd minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Caco Corrêa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romário Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Mauricio Silvanito came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Nina fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Silvanito couldn't finish the play. Lucio Hernandez made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Tiago Freitas sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Nina fc got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Heriberto. When the match was over Werneck FC - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nina fc throughout the match.
