Hugo Allik's late challenge caught a Vykans Vikingar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Allik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Allik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Roy Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haarald Ling in the 13th minute of play. Hannes Uusmaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Stolpe having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aare Hindremäe got free with Roy Stolpe in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Hugo Allik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 minutes, Haarald Ling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dundee and the Vykans Vikingar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haarald Ling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Hafström came free, but Ivari Olumets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Allik got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Hugo Allik got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Hannes Uusmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Casper Göransson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hannes Uusmaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Casper Göransson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ivari Olumets when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Markus Lausmäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haarald Ling in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Valdo Orumets got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Haarald Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dundee's supporters rose to their feet, but Haarald Ling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Stolpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hannes Uusmaa came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Dundee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Uusmaa couldn't finish the play. Jens Hafström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivari Olumets came out and tried to block the shot, but Jens Hafström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 91st minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vykans Vikingar were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Dundee side.
