Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enio Travassos started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Garin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Enio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Enio Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Tabor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorginho Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Tabor having to make a save. After recieving a nice pass, Estrela Solitária's Luiz Guilherme Miranda tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amadeo Tabor had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Enio Travassos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Amadeo Tabor was a little too slow when Enio Travassos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 15 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Miranda. Vânderson Arruda's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vânderson Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Arruda. Enio Travassos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Amadeo Tabor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Francisco Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jorginho Maia came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Estrela Solitária fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Maia couldn't finish the play. Mário Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Senio in the 42nd minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Miranda hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Jorginho Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Fermin Ponc made the kick off in the second half. Amadeo Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Enio Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Tabor was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Marco Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Quirino having to interfere. Mário Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Ponc in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vânderson Arruda hit a great ball. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Francisco Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Tabor. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Tabor should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Vânderson Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Lizbeth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mário Quirino. Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 minutes Estrela Solitária's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Lizbeth who took care of the corner kick. San Lorenzo's Celso Lizbeth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mário Quirino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76thth minute of the game Enio Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Amadeo Tabor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mário Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Ponc in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Enio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio Travassos in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Tabor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeo Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Travassos in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Garin during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Enio Travassos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeo Tabor. In the 87th minute, Enio Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Marco Senio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. San Lorenzo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
