Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) LauerArmy's Cipriano Pombal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lemel SV's Reinhard Braamhaar got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas dos Santos in the 4th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Olivier Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LauerArmy's Christiano Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save LauerArmy from getting a goal against them. In the 7th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriele Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Olivier Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Pombal in the 13th minute of the match. Cipriano Pombal scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olivier Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Simon Swart got a free kick in the 21st minute. Olivier Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pombal in the 23rd minute of play. Cipriano Pombal took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olivier Kahn. Olivier Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in LauerArmy's zone, Dirk Jan Dowie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Fontes came out of the goal and Dirk Jan Dowie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Chaves to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Jarbas dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Olivier Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dirk Jan Dowie hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dirk Jan Dowie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olivier Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Britto in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Reinhard Braamhaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joaquim Chaves hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Pieter den Hartog. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter den Hartog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sjoerd Bosschaart charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sjoerd Bosschaart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjoerd Bosschaart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Palmeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olivier Kahn. Lemel SV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 80 played minutes, Lemel SV's Leon Reiling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christiano Fontes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lemel SV reached it. Pieter den Hartog took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Fontes. Christiano Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 87th minute, Ismael Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Caetano de Souza hit a great ball. Olivier Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The LauerArmy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
