Luiz Fernando Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio dos Santos having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Percival Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LauerArmy the free kick. With 10 minutes on the clock, Abel Coutinho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Abel Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. LauerArmy's Maurinho Palmeira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Caio dos Santos but with some difficulty. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ademar Montenegro hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cipriano Pombal sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caio dos Santos. In the 18th minute, Percival Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Joaquim Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the LauerArmy defense, Eurico Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Fontes. The LauerArmy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Fontes should have stopped the shot. Silvério Almeida's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Silvério Almeida got a free kick in the 27th minute. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute, Luiz Fernando Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 41st match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Rossi to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fernando Britto to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio dos Santos having to interfere. If Percival Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, LauerArmy's Cipriano Pombal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pombal in the 63rd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio dos Santos having to interfere. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Jarbas dos Santos. But to his dismay, Jarbas dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Caio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Dante came free, but Caio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Percival Marinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caio dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pombal's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LauerArmy fully deserved thier win.
