Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhard Braamhaar in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Pieter den Hartog notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder. Matias Eder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46thth minute of the game Pieter den Hartog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinhard Braamhaar got free with Matias Eder in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
